Advancing Women in Technology

Ripple worked with AnitaB.org, a groundbreaking organization that supports women in computing, to develop and place thought leadership pieces in strategic outlets to support their new brand and messaging platform. The nonprofit, which organizes the world’s largest celebration of women in tech, wanted to take a bolder stance on issues related to equality, diversity, and obstacles that women in this industry face in education and the workplace.  Ripple researched topic ideas, conducted interviews with potential authors, reached out to reporters, and worked collaboratively with the AnitaB.org team to write and place articles in the following outlets: Refinery29 about what women in tech can learn from terrible advice; NBC Latino about Latina engineers; Triple Pundit about sexual harassment in the industry; and why Microsoft’s Chief Technology Officer is photographing the diverse people who build your tech in Fortune. AnitaB.org is truly helping to create a future where the people who imagine and build technology mirror the people and societies for whom they build it.
